Hullo all! Just a reminder, it’s Tuttle week once again! They sure come up quick. I’m looking forward to hearing Al Pavangkanan’s Comic-Con stories and seeing how everyone is getting along with things. Tuttle Club is LA’s only regular social media cafe. If you’re interested in these sorts of things (including all things shiny and gadget-y) why not come down and see what we’re all about?
Thanks everyone for making it to last weeks special Tuttle meeting with Lloyd Davis. Probably one of our biggest turnouts ever! We will now resume our regular schedule which means there’s a Tuttle LA this week I think you know what to do
Yes, i know this is a little last minute, but we’re putting on a geek dinner/tweet-up with the lovely Toby Moores (@sleepydog) as he’s in town from London doing the kick-ass things that Toby does. It’s sure to be the best night of your week. Toby is part of Amplified09 and The Creative Coffee Club… oh and working on this tiny project that you see below…
We’re meeting at a place called Pancho’s in Manhatten Beach on Thursday night December 17th. We haven’t actually set a time because of Toby’s schedule (he may be flying out that night) but you should figure around 6-ish. You can follow Francine’s or my own Twitter updates for a firm time. At any rate, it’s going to be a blast! Hope to see you there.

Did you notice how different Tuttle LA felt last time? The dynamics of the group are definitely morphing into something wonderful as more and more people join us. It was the first time that I was unable to get around to talking with everyone. Don’t get me wrong, people weren’t falling out into the streets, but our little side room off the coffee house is getting a little more crowded. And what the hell are they doing to our space!? It was once airy, bright, and zen like. Now we’re meeting amongst racks or prom dresses, children’s shoes, and paintings of car crashes. Bizarre, but truth be told, I like it.
To all the new faces we saw last time, thanks so much for coming out. We loved having you and hope you join us again. To everyone else in LA that wants to meet up with the city’s only social media cafe, follow the directions below
